The Bothy Glasgow

Tucked away in Glasgow’s vibrant West End, The Bothy offers a charming and relaxed setting for intimate wedding celebrations. While we never set out to be a traditional “wedding venue,” over time we’ve been genuinely delighted to host more and more couples on their special day.

It means the world to us when couples choose The Bothy as a reflection of their style—personal, heartfelt, and a little different. We pride ourselves on being the refreshing alternative to large, off-the-shelf weddings, offering warmth, character, and genuine hospitality.

We love working closely with our couples to create relaxed, meaningful celebrations with a focus on what really matters—great food, flowing drinks, and time spent with those you love most. Scottish produce and local tipples are always at the heart of the day.

Our fantastic location makes things easy: we’re just a short walk from some of the city’s most beautiful churches and landmarks, including Glasgow University and the Botanic Gardens. We’re also only a quick car or subway ride from local registry offices.
